Olukoyede Urges Students to Embrace Integrity, Entrepreneurship

Integrity, entrepreneurship and excellence are key requirements for the growth and success of every student and indeed the country at large.

EFCC Executive Chairman, Ola Olukoyede told Nigerian Students Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede is cautioning Nigerian youths, particularly school students to foster integrity, entrepreneurship, and excellence, describing these attributes as imperatives for individual and collective prosperity and nation building.

Olukoyede gave the charge during the Prize Giving and Graduation Ceremony of Nigerian Army Officers’ Wives Association (NAOWA) College, Asokoro, Abuja.

Present to represent the EFCC Chair is Mrs. Aisha Muhammed, Assistant Commander of the EFCC (ACE II) and Head of Enlightenment and Reorientation Unit.

Speaking on the sub-theme tagged, “The Journey Continues: Building A Legacy Of Excellence”, the EFCC boss told the graduands that to make an indelible imprint on the sands of time academic excellence alone is not an acceptable benchmark for success, but a life imbued with character, integrity, discipline and social impact.

Olukoyede said in his submission that; “We encouraged you to always make use of your school certifications as a springboard for creating opportunities, the only means to realize genuine success in life is to develop entrepreneurial skills and the discipline to ensure honesty and integrity. “Excellence is not the finishing point; it is a relentless process.

It is proven in our determination to give our utmost to everything, even when nobody is present, and it manifests in the honesty and persistence we employ in every step of our actions; diligence and readiness to continuously grow and improve.

He reminded the graduating student that today stands as another starting point in which their life journey will commence and be peppered with several opportunities and responsibilities. The graduates, he submitted were challenged to stay resilient, diligent and keep focus of becoming effective and productive leaders that will make a difference.

Major F.E. Eneche, Director of NAOWA College welcomed the celebrants and hailed the sustained efforts of the management, Parents and Stakeholders who supported their academic journey.

Major Eneche Congratulates prize recipients and urged them to keep pushing towards Excellence. Similarly the NAOWA President represented by Mrs. Jenny Gbileka (Head, Education Committee) called on the graduating students to remain confident and persistent in overcoming challenges.

She stressed that; success does not come easy it all depends on hard-work, persistence, sincerity.
