CAC Opens New Lagos Office for SMEs

The Corporate Affairs Commission, Nigeria’s corporate regulator has opened a new service office at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) Lagos to boost and expand access to services on business registration and compliance services among Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

This new facility was commissioned on April 30th, 2024, by the Registrar General/Chief Executive Officer of CAC, Hussaini Ishaq Magaji (SAN), as part of the commission’s commitment to deliver services at the fingertips of entrepreneurs and the federal government to enhance the ease of doing business as stipulated under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

It is expected that in the coming days and weeks, the new office at TBS Lagos will attend to the diverse needs of customers, offering a comprehensive suite of services including business name and company registration, filing of annual returns and other post-incorporation compliance services to enable customers complete all necessary transactions on time.

Speaking at the commission’s newly opened service office, the CAC stressed that the expansion is geared towards stimulating small business formalization, enhance regulatory compliance and expand economic inclusion by broadening the scope and accessibility of our corporate services to entrepreneurs across Lagos and its environs.
