’Tinubu Is The Only Candidate Who Can Win Rivers In 2027,’ FCT Minister Wike Abuja- The FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, is upbeat, declaring that President Bola Tinubu stands as the sole presidential aspirant poised to claim victory in Rivers State during the 2027 polls and that the President would experience an impressive showing in the state.
Speaking to a group of media executives in Abuja Tuesday, Wike affirmed that a massive political coalition bringing together stakeholders from the PDP, APC, Labour Party, the Action Alliance (AA) and a raft of other associations had thrown their support behind the reelection effort of the President.

He added that the pact is a collaboration that crosses party lines and is predicated on leveraging Rivers State’s potential.
“As far as Rivers State is concerned, President Tinubu remains the only presidential candidate who will carry the State in 2027. Because the politics of the State has now been drastically redefined, “Wike told the journalists.

According to Wike, his backing for the President was predicated on significant federal developments and visible projects in his state.
He further denied media insinuations that the pact was floated to nullify or erase the separate identities of the constituent political parties of the coalition stating that the alliance is based on mutual political objectives and not party affiliations.
