Nollywood veteran actress Ngozi Nwosu has been left with no choice but to beg Nigerians for money, disclosing that she’s spent three weeks in the hospital and needs 30 million for three surgeries to save her life. Nwosu is famous for playing the roles of “Victoria” in Ripples, “Mama Ngozi” in Fuji House of Commotion, among several other blockbuster Nollywood movies.
The 62-year-old actress, who has become known for her humility, made this disclosure in an emotional video she shared on her Instagram page. She stated that it had been a tough decision to reach out for financial assistance but the cost of treatment had become unbearable.

She appealed to Nigerians and colleagues to come to her aid as the needed surgeries will help keep her alive.
Nwosu refused to disclose the nature of her ailment to the public, stating that interested parties should reach out to her management or legal counsel for details regarding the medical intervention.

Many celebrities including, Toyin Lawani, a fashion entrepreneur and celebrity stylist, have already reached out with words of encouragement for the veteran actress, who previously battled severe kidney and heart related illness in 2013 and also needed help.
