Nigerian content creator and comedian Motell Solomon has shared details of his journey into the entertainment industry, revealing that financial realities and a desire to pursue a different path influenced his decision to venture into comedy.

Speaking during a recent interview, the skit maker said he was initially admitted to study Medicine and Surgery but later concluded that the programme did not align with his long-term ambitions. According to him, the search for alternative opportunities while in school eventually led him to content creation.

Mortell explained that his breakthrough came through relatable comedy skits centred on everyday experiences, particularly content featuring garri, a staple food widely consumed across Nigeria. The videos resonated with audiences on social media, helping him build a growing fan base and establish a recognizable online presence.
