Both Swift and Trump have backed different candidates in the bid to become president in 2024; Swift has pledged her support to Kamala Harris, while Trump has made numerous attacks against the singer. Politically, Swift has also been opposed to putting her name on the same side in association with Trump or his political platform.

Response as of yet by swift has not yet clarified whether she gave an order or directed the elimination of the music.
