President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Babajide Sanwo-Olu on his 61st birthday and Femi Gbajabiamila on his 64th birthday, praising both leaders for their contributions to governance and national development.

In separate goodwill messages issued on Thursday, the President described Governor Sanwo-Olu as a committed public servant whose administration has continued to advance infrastructure development, transportation reforms and economic growth in Lagos State. He commended the governor’s dedication to public service and expressed confidence in his continued role in supporting Nigeria’s development agenda.
According to the presidential statements, Tinubu wished Sanwo-Olu good health, strength and continued success in serving the people of Lagos.
President Tinubu also paid tribute to Gbajabiamila, describing his Chief of Staff as a seasoned administrator and accomplished legislator whose years of public service have contributed significantly to Nigeria’s democratic development.

The President acknowledged Gbajabiamila’s leadership during his tenure as Speaker of the House of Representatives and praised his continued support in coordinating activities within the Presidency.
The President noted that Gbajabiamila’s experience in governance and legislative affairs has remained an asset to his administration, particularly in strengthening collaboration between the executive and other arms of government. He prayed for continued wisdom, good health and greater accomplishments in the years ahead.
Sanwo-Olu, who has served as Governor of Lagos State since 2019, remains one of the country’s prominent political figures, overseeing projects in transportation, healthcare, housing and urban renewal.

Gbajabiamila, meanwhile, transitioned from leading the House of Representatives to serving as Chief of Staff to the President following Tinubu’s inauguration in 2023.
