Bishop David Oyedepo has disclosed new details about Living Faith Church’s Ark auditorium at Canaanland, Ota, Ogun State, during a recent church convention.
The Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide said the massive facility accommodates 109,000 individual seats, alongside 126 escalators, 29 elevators and 20 chillers serving its central air-conditioning system.
Oyedepo made the disclosure during the Day Five Impartation Service of the 2026 Annual Youth Alive Convention at Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland. The five-day programme ran from August 18 to 22 under the theme, “Next Levels.”
Inside the Ark’s Massive Infrastructure
According to Oyedepo, the auditorium’s seating capacity consists of individual seats rather than benches.
He said the building’s cooling system includes 20 chillers and noted that one chiller could independently serve a 5,000-bed hotel, highlighting the scale of the facility’s climate-control requirements.
The bishop described The Ark as a “global amazement” while outlining the infrastructure installed in the new worship centre.
Oyedepo Addresses Construction Funding
Oyedepo also said Living Faith Church did not raise a special offering specifically for construction of The Ark.
He said church offerings and tithes were directed towards other responsibilities, including welfare interventions for members, which he said assist at least 2,000 people every week. He further stated that the project has no outstanding financial obligations.

The claims about the project’s funding and financial position were made by Oyedepo during his address and were reported by multiple Nigerian news outlets.
