Disney has unveiled the cast of Marvel Studios’ highly anticipated new “X-Men” film at its D23 fan event in California, while also offering fans a first look at “Frozen 3.”
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige announced Sadie Sink as Jean Grey, Kit Connor as Cyclops, Christopher Abbott as Professor X, Inde Navarrette as Rogue, Maya Boyd as Storm, Samara Weaving as Emma Frost and Adam Driver as Mr. Sinister.
The film is scheduled for release in May 2028.
The announcement represents Marvel’s major step toward bringing the X-Men fully into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, following Disney’s acquisition of 21st Century Fox and years of anticipation among fans.

Disney also showcased “Frozen 3,” scheduled for release in November 2027. The film will feature Anna and Kristoff’s wedding, while Elsa and Anna face a new mystery involving a female antagonist. Original stars Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel and Josh Gad returned at D23 to perform new songs from the film.
The D23 event also featured announcements for “Incredibles 3,” “Coco 2,” “Star Wars: Starfighter” and Marvel’s upcoming “VisionQuest.”
