NELFUND Disburses ₦180.3m Student Loans to 2,152 Kano Students

The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has disbursed ₦180,346,256 in student loans to 2,152 beneficiaries of Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology (ADUSTECH), Wudil, Kano State, for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The disbursement was made across four batches, with Batch K receiving ₦78,928,752 for 946 students, while Batch L received ₦75,807,640 for 900 beneficiaries.

A further ₦20,649,532 was disbursed to 247 students under Batch M, while Batch N received ₦4,960,332 for 59 students.

The combined allocation brings the total number of beneficiaries to 2,152 students, with the overall disbursement standing at more than ₦180.3 million.

NELFUND said the intervention is part of its broader effort to reduce financial barriers to higher education and expand access to tertiary education for Nigerian students.

The latest disbursement provides financial support to students at ADUSTECH amid continuing efforts by the Federal Government to make higher education more accessible through its student-loan programme.
